Our data residency policy

Guiding principle

Altiusone is designed so that your data never leaves the geographic region of your choice. Residency is set by two parameters at subscription time: the region (Switzerland, EU or Africa) and the deployment mode (local on-prem, self-host catalogue, or Altiusone-managed K3s).

See the full French page for detailed rules per region and mode. Short version: Mode 1 keeps data on your hardware, Mode 2 in your chosen hoster's datacenter, Mode 3 in Altiusone's regional cluster.
